Logical Work

First Things First

In the logical procedure of things, we have to establish what are the priorities and then do the first things first. Secondly we need to address essential items or articles of discussion for preparation of following out and continueing with the long list of things that we have to do. Being organised is being ready for problems and orientating oursleves to get the necessary tasks and jobs done in the format we precedingly decided and then systematically working through the chain of events to get what there is to be done, completed and ticked off to stay on track with further oncoming workloads. Leading is taking the initiative to make a start and to proceed by doing what comes up first on the list to be completed first and ticked off. Then we have the second job which becomes the new priority and then that gets done in the usual and logical chain of events. First things first is basically about establishing priorities and carrying out each task as it arises in a logical order. We need to stay organised and task focused to get each task or job done and completed as we work through our days. Stephen Covey wrote a book titled First Things First which was about how companies and business personel can apply principles to making best use of their time by being organised and doing tasks orientated to get things done by doing work jobs as first things first. Being task orientated is about being organised but we cannot afford to let go of the immediiate priorities that crop up throughout the day and getting them done first and out of the way so we can stay focused on other matters on our to do lists. I don't really want to get involved in too much discussuion on to do lists at the moment as we each have enough of our own ideas on what needs to be done by us all as individuals. When we have jobs faced nationally or globally it is best left to political circles to navigate eash issue one by one at a time, making sure that you obtain the right outcome for each particular task. Of cource there is always plenty to do for everyone and finding out what needs to be done first is always best addressed as a priority but taking time to make sure that things are done right as you do them is essentaial in task completion of any work as well. For example, going to the beach may not be a priority but replacing the gutter on your roof before it rains again must be when it is all rusted out. We simply have to look at each task as a question to its sense of urgency and apply the first things first princple to each task as the need for work arises to be done. My mind may not be properly in gear at the moment but by a step by step logical working through of ideas in written format, you will find it as a good way to get focused and orientated on what needs to be done. Organising priortities takes time but is well worth the effort and you need to create job lists and apply that principle effectively and efficiently. As I have written my mind has become more organised by setting out ideas on task focused objectives for the logical progression of work ideas. This somehow works out systematically for the best by detailing discussion on work objectives and that is best done by establishing what needs to be done as firtst things first. In the natural progression of work, task focused jobs apparently appear to get done and fulfiled as the principle of first things first works its way through and out into writing format. The key is to recongnise your own priorities and get the work done as it arises by doing what needs to be done first and everything else will fall into place once you have established this priority of getting things done first.

The Second Order

The second order is what we need after money, we know everyone needs money first to live in estabishing food, clothes and shelter, but you also need enough time to get everything done in your day as much as you do in your lifetime. Just because there are twenty four hours in the day does not mean that you have to get everything done at once as as we all know our bodies must rest to function and perform duties well rightly and correctly while maintaining a logically organised sense of achievement in doing things. Time is the second order but a lot of people put it as a priority these days as you simply cant make more money than anybody else by being fair and square the whole time, even if that is the objective idea. People cheat and are corrupt to get what they want before other people and taking time out to organise priortities is a good way of making sure that you stay safe and secure in the logical process of getting work done. You don't have to be first at everything to live long enough and to have enough money.Money is not life in itself, it is a means of obtaining something what you want in the long and slow progession of everything and is something that everybody needs just a little each of to get something that you want or need.Like time, money is an essential commodity but being greedy or selfish to excessive levels leads to immorality and corruption. We should try to take time out for ourselves to remain healthy and comfiortable in our lifestyle dispositions. Luxury items are a want and not a need and we have to be especially careful about how much we indulge ourselves in obataining whatever we can at any cost, self denial is a good principle in exercising control over our own lives to allow for someone else to gain a bit or get a head as well as we all need each other to talk to and help us stay sane in the process of doing life together. Time may well be the scecond prder or priority if you like, but money will drive you around the bend if you let is and staying sane by focusing on other priorities, like time is healthy and makes good sense. Rome as not built in a day, as many a wise man has coined the phrase and that means having enough time to get the job done, is as important as rushing through with extra people to finish the job early and ahead of schedule. By taking time we are making sure that the job is done properly and will stand the test of time for the long term. Really there are three priorities that we simply must have in life to sustain life, air, water and thirdly food. Clothes are the first luxury item but essential these days of cource. If you have these things first then you have a good to better than average chance of survival. It may seem obvious to point these things out as basic as they are, but all too often these days we have become too focused on having the best house and latest model car. Those things will come in time but let us not foget that we have to work for and earn everything we get. There are no handouts, except for the completely destitute. Giving out of the abundance is also a pretty good idea to as the best way to help yourself is to help somebody else first. Remembering the gift of life from God as really what should be our first priority and then you can pick whether you want money or need time next. Stay focused on priorities that is the key, first second and third are really just the logical supply down the life chain, as we all need to live above all else and the world must go around to each of us.

Pay With Your Mind

Pay with your mind, it is a kind of play on words. useually people pay with their money that they have earned paying physically in hard sweat or smart thinking. Paying with your mind is more like the smart thinking, where people work smarter and not harder. It is all too easy to make a quick buck anyway you like, but to really be successful in life, you have to take time out to think about how you will spend your time and money, plus what it does actually take to earn the money. Paying with your mind is using your head instead of your braun, brain instead of muscle. Intelligence does not just happen but you have to spend many dilligent hours developing your mind and your brain in order to train it to think logically and comprehensively. There is no quick fix in the idea of the get rich quick sheme of things. It all takes time and that has to be drawn out. You simply can't expect to put a $1 in the bank and have $1 million at the end of the day. It does not work like that and yes even using your brain to think is taxing and draining. You have to use your brain and develope your mind to think logically and with forsight for the long term advancement of things. Sure you can make a $1 million in fifty years, twenty years or even ten years if you are patient, but you just have to take your time doing things and get it right first time and to see that through as a natural progression. People make a $billion or more in a life time, I don't know how they do it, robbing innocent victims of their hard earned cash I guess. I have never done it. Either that or they are just too smart for me, probably the latter. But it is all about using your God giiven brain and putting your mind to good use in order to make that hard earned cash. At the end of the day though it is not how much money you have got, but whether you are happy doing your job. You have to be able to live with yourself after all and that means having delevoped a conscienous in knowing that you are treating other people right. They say that life is not fair, but we must all aim to be fair in our personal dealings. We can't live a long time if we are ripping other people off all the time, they soon get sick of that. Not that they would put a gun to your head these days but they would see you locked up in jail for a long time if you fowl handedly cheated them out of their hard earned cash. That is only fair in love and war, we have to be honest in our dealings with people and show courtesy and respect to those who help out with loving and kind support. With money and living a long time, it is all about earning respect and not squeezing the life blood out of innocent people. Paying with your mind means using your head and that means paying other people for the things that they have done or produced in the world wide market of fair play. You have to be as shrewd as a snake, as cunning as a fox and also as graceful as a swan or strong as an ox. But remember that you must use your ehad first in all manner of dealings. Sometimes to me you have to have the eye of an eagle, the courage of a lion and a mind as smart as other people, it also does not hurt to be compassionate, caring and helpful in any way you can. First things first in paying with your mind, use your brain intelligently and other people will see your good works and rewards you for your time and concern. Try to be reasonable in anyway you can and above all be fair and just in all you dealings, as hard as it seems, it is the right way.

I Can, You Can

Nothing is too hard if you really think about it, I can, you can, says we can. The Bible says that what is impossible for man is possible for God, maybe a woman said that, what is impossible for man is possible for a woman. It just means that we have to take some time to really think about what we can do and what we can't. What we can achieve realistically is a better way to think than I can do anything I like if I really put my mind to it. Sure there is a lot we can achieve by working hrad and putting our minds together to think through how we can possibly achieve something that initially looks too hard, that is saying I can you can because we work together and use our combined resources to achieve our goal.  We also have to remember that there is rules to learn and obey and just because I can go to the corner store and steal a chocolate, does not mean that I am allowed to. There are consequences to our actions and we have to be responsible in making choices. LIke at a marriage ceremoney, the bride and groom both have to say I do. That does not necessarily mean that they jump into bed first just because they can. There is a need for long term committment and that comes by exchanging wedding vows. We have to take time out to think about what is right and wrong and that means being responsible to ourselves and to each other. God give us the grace and understanding to accept those few simple rules. Again I say Rome was not built in a day as many people have wisely quoted, but doing life is about long term sustainability and sharing and caring of resources and to use our minds wisely and shrewdly in all aspects of our work relationships. In order to progress naturally we have to think rationally first and that does not necessarily mean nationally, but a good head would try and understand that to. I can, you can, yes, but first use your head to share ideas and bounce of your ideas with other people's ideas. I can, you can it is indeed fair as we all have our own gifted abilities, but the key is in combining our resources and not jumping the gun to race in and blunder our way through any time we like. There were three types of can openers when I was growing up, the one you had to dig in and work your way around in up and down actions with a sharp edge to it. Then there was the one that you dug in and turned the handle around yourself and got the lid off. Thirdly there was the electric one that did everything for you and even had a magnet to hold the lid when you removed the can. So just as can openers advanced throughout the eyars so to does our abilities in being able to do what we can, once we have aquired skills and experience in how to do things properly. We can take a good lesson from the can opener as it only makes life easier for us by having the right tools. Tools were developed for mechanics and gardeners, computers were developed instead of typewriters, cars were developed instead of walking, now there is trains and buses and even ships and planes to get us where we want to go internationally. I can you can, but remember all the hard work in innovative ideas that were developed over the years to make life easier, not to cheat the system but to help us in our everyday work to get things done more pratically and easier, so that our backs would not brake and our heads would not crack, but that we would make life more pleasant and comfortable for ourselves in the long term scheme of things for the long run and the long haul. So next time you want to load up your truck use a forklift and next time you move use a removal van instead of making twenty trips in you car. I can you can, yes, but common sense must prevail.

Let Someone Lead

You say, let me lead and I say I will let you lead, but really we have to get it right and a leader must be highly respected and proven before such a job or task is given to them. So I say show the initiative and you will be the leader, but it is still nice to be lead by someone else who is smarter than you and can show you the way around to do things and get things done. We each have our own specific skills and abilities and we have to use those as what we know to the best of our minds for engineering work to be done. Except that you know less than someone else and you will be in for a treat when they show you what they know. It is just plain and simply nice to let someone lead and you to follow for a change instead of trying to dominate proceedings in all and every shape, size and form, every time. Let some one who knows better show you the way, let someone who has walked the road before you lead the way. In our own self conceited way of doing things, we all too often get into trouble and fall flat on our faces because we think we know best, admit that you don't know any better and that you need help sometimes and you will be all the happier and more greatfully rewarded by doing so. Leaders pave the way it is fair to say, readers know the difference between a good leader and a bad one, it is fair to say evenly. It is also fair to say that leaders are readers and that you don't earn the respect of being a leader until you have learnt the ropes by being a reader. Leaders are only as good as their product knowledge and their work skills and just because you have read a hundred books on the subject means that you can put that into practical application, you have to do the hard yards of practical application as well as theory, before you know well enough how to show someone else what to do. Basically all all boils down to what is a matter of impact, how you put your point across and why you want things done. There has to always be a logical reason for work and getting things done and leaders always has to have an educated aspect in what is being done. Therefore let someone who knows lead and don't try and take advandage of the situation first before you know what is going on and how to do the job properly. People go to school to learn about life and how things affect them in the work force and also what to expect and what they might need to know to get the job. But leadership, as in being a teacher or employer is a different kettle of fish. You must do the hard yards of work before you come out of the school of hard knocks, unless you are a university graduate and even them you still need relevant workplace experience before you are a leader in your chosen field. God grant us leaders who lead wisely and show us the way of the correct path everytime. God does not put leaders in their place for no reason and the more experience you have the better the leader you will be. Politicians try to lead our country and yes that is their job, but politicians come and go pretty quickly if the people see that they don't know what they are doing, if they have read the right books, have the right insight, they still need to listen to the people to get things right, by making up their own minds what is right and best for the people in an overall perspective and national point of view, with calculated uderstanding. Yes it is nice to have the status of ledership, but first make sure that you know what you are doing and if someone knows how to lead let them and if they don't, you say so pretty quickly as well to tell them and let them know. I am sure that you are the best judge of that. Writing is for reading, but leaders must do and act on what they read and understand.

Read More, Enjoy More

Like writing more, reading more enables your brain to think more clearly, differentiating between what you know and what you don't. Reading more also is a way of relaxation and enjoyment and the more you read the more you learn to enjoy books and what they are about. It takes a considerable amount of effort to absorb knowledge and the more we read, the sometimes it appears the harder to keep going, but nevertheless with persurverance and patience, you can gradually do that job of reading that you have aquired the taste for and enjoy doing after a long time of learning. Perhaps you are new to reading and are still to aquire that thirst for more literature, but still there is hope that you will grab hold of this indulging pastime of intoxicating reading, that once you are addicted to it, you will find it hard to give up. The thirst for literature becomes like the thirst for water after a while the more you read, the more you want to soak yourself in the wellspring of living water which is literature. So next time you grab your drink of water and sit down with a book in your hands, remember the well sprigs of life that just keep coming and flowing out of books filled with intoxicating literature, dig deep and dig long and try and settle your mind on being content that you have read enough if you can. Don't be all and totally consumed in a book as though you just might lose the plot and imagine yourself really in that other world, when you really have to focus on reality. The problem is not how much you can read, but how much you cannot read and even if you are an avid reader, you will find it hard to settle down for more than a couple of hours fully engrossed in that book, without having to get up and do something else. You just have to simply keep going whatever the cost with literature, because when you stop reading, life stops as well. It really sounds like a hard line to call, but as soon as your mind starts to stop reading, the sooner you deterierate mentally and spiritually. Sure we have to do a number of things physically, but still that involves some reading even if it is only street signs or shop signs advertising for things you might want to by, or giving you direction along the road of life for those who wish to travel it. Reading is a major form of enjoyment for me and the more I read the more I seem to want to enjoy it or get something out of life, I hope that applies to you as well. Read more, enjoy more is just a way of finding your financial security and niche in life as well as the way things are actually done by other people. You have to stay informed about thngs, by reading news articles and watching the evolvement of advancement in the creation of our all too often sort new reality. The key is to stay informed, or for those who just pick up a book to read, relax and enjoy, I hope you find that your spiritual desire is fulfiled in your reading endeavours. Theoretically the more you read, the happier you will be and more money you will have in material possessions. But it does not allways work like that, even though that is the optimum goal, for those who read a lot, you just have to take the opporunity to read more every time that you can or seem to be able to do so or to get and find what you want in reading. Try praying when the time gets too hard for you that God will lead and guide you in your selfish endeavour of reading more and more. Even a little bit of reading can be very enjoyable, though we should all aim to read as much as we can, whenever we can, at all times..

The Hard Effort Works

The hard effort works, like the hard effort fought and won, life is a challenge it is fair to say and you only get out of life what you put into it. Just because the world stops going for someone you loved or there is a public crisis happening somewhere on earth, does not mean that the world stops turning for you or because of you. We have to aim to try our best and to do what we can and help each other get on in life as much as we can.  The work effort is a hard ask for people getting older, but there is always people willing to help that are trained highly and paid enough to do so, we simply must keep going as long as we can and that requires and takes effort. A little effort or a lot of effort, the choice is up to you depending on your physical and mental ability to work, but no matter what happens throughout the day we simply have to make some effort to keep going in life and try and stay alive. Any money for work along the way is much appreciated and required for our work efforts, but even for those who are extremely capable and put a lot of effort into everything, there comes a time when we all start to slow down and fall victum to the old age syndrome. People who have a full time job and I guess that is a majority of us have to put the effort in each day and each hour just to maintain there jobs to keep going with the leven and standard of the quaslity of life that they have become use to and accustomed to. It you want to take home $50,000 a year or even up to $100,000 a year, you must be able to perform your tasks at the best of your ability throughout the days, weeks, months and years or you will pay the price of losing your job if you do not work hard enough. It is not easy and as I have said and thousands before me, life was not meant to be easy. No matter what we all have got in life, we have to apply that little bit of effort or we end up dead. To work hard requires a lot of effort in maintaining and holding down a full time job. For those who are on a pension, they just need to do what they can to get through the day. If it all boils down to just time and money and how much you have got and how long you will live, effort is the key and the name of the game for longetivity and financial success. The choice is up to you, make an effort and try or perish in your laziness and the stubborness of being a sluggard. Just to keep going a little bit at a time still requires a little bit of effort and trying too hard all the time can lead to a mental breakdown or physical accident. We have to be careful to weigh things in the balance and pace ourselves as much as possible and if that means accepting a pension for $25,000 a year instead of grinding your head in hard work for somebody else to earn a lot more money. Basically it comes down to the choice of that and that being up to you. If you are sick you can't work , then that is life and if you are well, then you just have to work to your mental or physical capacity in trying to get what you want, just like everybody else seems to want to be doing for themselves. You could say the more money you want to work for, the less time you have for yourself or otherwise it depends on your state of health and how well you are in life, to put the effort in and work. Even trying just a little biit will help you get through the day if you are incapacitated, otherwise for those real high achievers who make more than $5,000,000 in a life time and work hard and flat out all day everyday using a lot of effort to do so, or the ones who just never stop trying or give up till they get what they want. The choice is up to you and you are only limited by what your physical health will allow you to do. Remember one thing and if nothing else, make a bit of effort in life and you will be happily rewarded for your trying in the selfish endeavour of looking after yourself.

More Work, More Money

More work, more money, well at least that is the theme and the key for most people, the knowledge that the more I do the more rewarded financially I will be. It is not about hoping and dreaming, it is about real effort, output and input into working as part of a team in a group or company, as you play your individual part to contribute. We simply can't sit back on our hands all day and expect things to be dropped into our laps. The thing is with business is that you have to make a profit or you are out on your tail and rear end sideways. You have to apply yourself and the guiding principles of success that work for everybody else to your own work situation and working conditions. For a company to remain in business it requires you to do your best at the work you are doing to ensure that you help maintain that alusive profit for the owner or shareholders. Therefore by your contributions you are doing more work for more money for your take home pay at the end of the day or foirtnight to use to your own pleasures and indulgences. If you own your own business then it definitely depaends on how you as a sole trader, spend you time, tidying up, serving customers buying inventry or just cleaning up ready for the next days trade. Even if you are on a pension you have to do some physical things throughout the day which is a form of work unless you are totally incapacitated and then you must be looked after by others who inturn earn their weekly wages. Salary or remuneration is your reward for your effort for knowing how to perform tasks or having the knowledge of skills that equipe you to serve, work, perform trasks and otherwise in attaining your monetarial reqward. The principle is that if I just have faith to go the distance I will get more rewards, even The Bible says that faith without deeds is useless. The fact is that we must do more everyday to help others in some way or to try and assist the growing of our community by sharing our time and resources in work efforts. These work efforts of trying to help is our sure and guaranteed reward in finacial or monetarial incentives and payments to our own personal bank acocunts. The tried and tested theory is, do the work and get paid for it, the whole social system is designed and evolved around those conditions. We have to try to be productive, we must work to eat and we have to use our skillsa nd resources to help other people in their hour or time of need. Some people just work to be happy by careful utilization of their time once they have earned enough money stashed away in the bank to live. They just voluteer until they themselves have to pay others to help. It is a good idea and it all works out in the end, scratch my back and I will scracth yours, help me and I will help you and financial considerations just seem to happen and work out in the wash for those people who always try and keep themselves busy. God rewards to doer or these days it is the Governemnt who gets the bill for your work through taxes, revenue and pays through all its assistants and employees throughout the counrty in the form of helping and working. Once again it is all a matter of financial remeuneration and your own work efforts and levels are rewarded diiferently by how much you contribute and put back into the society that gave you something in the first place through schools and family and churches. We have hospital care for those who get sick through their hard work efforts when they are helping others more than themselves and have run themselves into the ground through their busy industrious behaviour. Yiou simply have to work smarter as well as or instead of harder. Love is the bottom line and you bank balance should show its fruit by your work effort contributions and in fact it will. Leave the faith to God and put your trust in Him for all the good things in life that you have always wanted and asked for in prayer, He will show you how to attain those things by attaining skills and qualifications in learning institutions by trained teachers. More work, more money it is just the way you go about it by doing, reading and writing as your boss or leader tells you to do, with me it is God who guides me and The Government pays. Laugh, laugh I do the work to.

Do It Right

Do it right or do it and do the writing. What I am saying is that when you set about to do a task and accomplish your desired goal of completion of the task make sure that you do it right and that there are no nasty repercussions of mistakes waiting to show their ugly head after you have finished the job. offcource there are often errors in our work as we proceed through the day trying to get on top of our workload or specific tasks, but there needs to be a necessary sense of steps and proceedures to ensure that the operation of accomplishing the work tasks are carried out smoothly and safely in all aspects of the job environment. Taking precautions to make sure that as you proceed with the work tasks that you are making sure of there proper means and activities in the task objective and procedures. There is really no need or reason for rushing work through and the more careful and conscious you are of safety and right minded accomplishment of the objectives, the more certain that you end up with the job being completed in a right and acceptable level, in the gross and overall scheme of things, in the life of the workforce and the presentation of the job being done. Getting it right or making sure that the job is done right is the necessary performance requirement of any work goal or accomplishment of the job task or end work result. In other simplified easy to understand language and words, if you get it right the first time, then you won't have to do it again at the cost of double time. Getting it right in practical application is doing it right and the work of the task or objective accomplishment must be completed to scale and customer requirements within an affordable cost pricing and monetarial capacity of meeting or making payments. Really though money is not the bottom line, but being thorough and carefully right in all safety procedures is what is important. You have heard it said that money pays for all things, but when you are doing the job in practical application it is the people who do the work, that must be looked after, both by providing the task being done and for the purchase of the final commodity. If we make people our priority then we are more than halfway in ensuring that we are doing it right and are heading for and aiming for the highest standard of work requirement that is humanly or physically attainable. Life is about doing it right and we don't always get a second chance. Learning the hard way at a cost, can be painful, instead of a slow and gradual learning techinique or method of right procedures and previously tested methods that work to perform the task. We simply can't afford to try every which way we can in a haphazzard form, when there is a proven right way and the established best way of doing things. I don't need to highlight or outline every best technique for each instance and usually it is just a matter of common sense and experience in knowing what and how to do. For reasons of prioritizing importance in any given situation there must be recognition of the right way of doing things in any given task or work for the job objective and performance. Read as much as you can on relevant work related procedures and establish the way you are going to do things before you start, once you have an outline of task procedure, then it is just a matter of a systematic scheduling of the simple task steps and procedures to accomplish the desired goal of job accomplishment. So when you first set out to do a job, establish the priorities as I have said and then systematically and logically work your way through the job procedure to establish the task or work being done, to get it right and finished correctly. Remember that the need for speed does not apply, better to be safe than sorry and efficiency and effectiveness are the keys to the desired goal and task in accomplisment of the finished job.

Take Time To Relax

I was just about to sit downa nd have my cup of tea and I realized that I had a page to write called time to relax. It seems that one thing or another seems to go hand in hand with the other. Relaxation and peace time come from work productivity which is what and why and how we work for this quality time. Realxation is not just as simple as all that, sitting down with your cup of tea and physically relaxing, these days it is even a work effort to make your cup of tea for those who live by themself and don't have someone else to get it for them. Call it laziness, being lathargic, stressed and overworked or just some other God given reason that we use to do nothing, waste time and just physically rest. However how you see relaxation, it is still important to take some time out for yourself and just relax. If I just decided to sit down and do nothing then this page would never get written and even writing this page is a form and type of relaxation for me. Work, the dreaded four letter word that seems to plague and haunt us most of the time into fits of stress and anxiety is also a good reason to sit down and relax and say to yourself I have deserved this time out to myself. When we go to bed at night and drift off into peaceful sleep and experience imaginative dreams of wonder and magnifigance, we sometimes forget that our afternoon nap some time before hand has caused us to wake up at 3-4 am in the morning feeling wide awake and sleepless in our excessive hours of sleep. How can we justify an afternoon nap unless we have worked half the night on a shiftwork schedule just to get our quota of work up to date and keep the boss happy. Theoretically the harder you work the better you should sleep or at least that is the theory. I get my eight hours at least or ten if I am lucky to get up and use my time through the day as wisely as I can and return the same place again for each night. Just as when the weekend comes around and you have put in your 40 hours of work or whatever crazy hours you do and it is time to sit down on a comfortable chair and relax in front of the TV. The kids yelling and screaming and the wife wants you to mow the lawn and what happends to your relaxation time, it seems to fly out the window in home maintainence time and effort. So how and when do you use, find and come across this time to relax in your working week. Church on Sundays, welll that may be relaxing to some, but for most of us it is a little welcome reminder of the hard facts of life that we all far too often seem to forget and drift away from. Therefore it pays to pay attention and listen to the minister who is up there preaching and doing all the hard work for you, especially if you want value for money for your tithe. So when and how do we relax, should we set aside an hour or two of the day just to unwind and relax. God said that in the beginning, He created heaven and earth and on the seventh day after God had finished making everything he rested. A sabbatical to do nothing but praise and worship God is how we should view it now, as if it was good enough for God to rest, then we all should take a leaf out of his book and do the same. Relaxation or resting gives us a renewed vitality, it gives the brain time to recover from the strenuous work and effort in thinking, it gives us time to rest our weary bones from manual labour. And it gives us the peace of mind that we need to think clearly and concisely to make right decisions because we are welll rested. I like to just lie down on the bed sometimes when I have not got a clue or better idea and just listen to some music, the calm peaceful therapeudic music that soothes the soul and gives peace and contentment to the mind in the reassurance that you are going to heaven to rest your mind and soul forever. Or at least for that hour or two if you are lucky. God bless us all and give us that necessary resting time to relax and rejuvinate our minds and souls. Teach us all how to rest and relax, in order to perform our normal functions correctly. Take time and find time to rest, relax and recover from all your hard work and labour.
